Organic vitamin C is contained in the Camu Camu plant. Used in the Peruvian Amazon since the dawn of time, the Camu Camu is still unknown on our continent. Originally, it is a small tree from Peru, up to three meters high. Its fruit, marked by an intense acid flavor with citrus notes (grapefruit) is red-orange in color. It is the fruit that contains the most natural vitamin C (10g/100g). Its content is twice as high as that of the acerola and 50 times more than that of orange. Organic vitamin C contained in the Camu Camu comes from our supplier Guayapi and comes from a wild picking and is traditionally harvested by the Shipibos Indian tribe in the Ucayali region in Peru.
